Coplanar Capillary Plasma Electrode Discharge Flat-Panel Lamps Based on Porous Anodic Alumina

A coplanar capillary plasma electrode discharge is a promising source owing to its superior performance. In this study, flat-panel lamp fabricated from porous anodic alumina and glass was designed investigate properties. Coplanar lamps with dielectric layers were investigated. Changing of the frequency voltage power supply altering thickness interval distance carried out optimize performance by decreasing spark-ignition enhancing luminous efficacy. The luminance can exceed 7200 Cd/m2 white light flux efficacy more than 4.92 lm/W. process modeled simulated using COMSOL Multiphysics. electron density temperature also analyzed. results show that small jets produced at pores alumina, which helped stabilize plasma. in gas gap changes sharply geometry layer, leading higher electric field. decreased. Small increase uniformity. reach approximately 1.94 × 108 m3 3.34 eV, respectively. high field intensity validated potential related fields.
